Dr Rob Silver is an integrative and holistic veterinarian who has included the use of functional mushrooms in his clinical work for 20 years., along with many other holistic and conventional modalities. He has authored the book: "There's a Mushroom for That!" describing the use of mushrooms, cannabis, diet and herbs for pet health strategies, and over the past 5 years has been working with a mushroom company developing pet specific mushroom products, and testing them clinically. An expert on the veterinary use of cannabis, Dr Silver has been exploring the synergy that mushrooms and cannabis have when used together clinically. Dr Silver's main mission in life is to educate pet parents and veterinarians in the science and practice of mushroom therapies for specific conditions and for overall wellness and general health and longevity. Dr Silver is looking forward to speaking at the TMF this year, as he knows that many mycophiles have beloved pets and he wants to share with them how they can use their knowledge of mushrooms to help their pets live long and healthy lives.
