Blake Westman has spent 17+ years living and breathing mycology as part of the team at Fungi Perfecti. When he's not immersed in the fungal kingdom, he's out putting in miles on the trail . The Sneffels Highline Foray is where both worlds collide: putting in miles quickly for a foray trying to cover as much ecological diversity as possible.
"The trail runner in me wants to cover ground. The mycophile in me wants to stop for every potentially promising but of habitat . This foray is my attempt to do both.
